Loch Lomond side towns.

 Balloch (approx. 12 miles) the southern tip of Loch Lomond you may like to have a sail from Sweeney’s cruises on the bonnie banks.  At the heart of Loch Lomond Shores, designed by one of Scotland’s leading architects, the design is reminiscent of an ancient Scottish Castle.  Family attraction, Loch Lomond aquarium.  Farmer’s market on 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. Bird of Prey centre. Maid of the Loch and Lomond Shores shopping centre for some retail therapy or a cup of coffee. Free parking, children’s play area.

Geilston Gardens near to the village of Cardross.   National Trust garden, parking,  picnic tea/coffee pay machine and self service in car park.

You may bring your bicycles to Loaninghead just like our present guests.  They walked the Gargunnock Hills yesterday today off on the bikes.
