What about a walk on the West Highland Way. After breakfast take the B9 bus from Loaninghead drive-way 10.34 a.m.to the village of Balfron. change to B10 bus arrive 11.15 a.m. Milngavie where you will find the Start of the West Highland Way. 14 miles approx. to the village of Drymen. Drive to Loch Katrine in the Trossachs wonderful scenery. Take the Sir Walter Scott over 117 years old a small steamship that has provided pleasure cruises on Loch Katrine in the scenic Trossachs for more than a century and is the only surviving screw steamer in regular passenger service in Scotland. At Trossachs Pier you can hire bicycles to take on the Sail to Stronachlar cycle or walk 12 miles back to the Trossachs Pier.
