Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Park

Kelvingrove Park Glasgow.   Kelvingrove was originally created as the West End Park in 1852 by noted English gardener Sir Joseph Paxton, Head Gardener at Chatsworth House.     

Kelvingrove  popular in summer, when lots of sunbathers stretch out across the grass.  It is an ideal park for a walk during the spring flowers.  It isn’t particularly large to go round – so you aren’t out in the cold or rain too long.  It has scenic viewpoints and architecture.  The tower of the University of Glasgow looks impressive. After your walk plenty of pubs and restaurants on the outskirts to warn up in after your walk.

You can drive to Glasgow and visit this impressive Art Gallery Kelvingrove, parking at Kelvingrove where you can take a walk round the gardens and University.
